This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Focus is on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Additionally, awareness of breath and meditation will integrate the body, mind and spirit, all within a playful, supportive environment. If transitioning from the floor is a challenge, please consider our Chair Yoga class.

Chair yoga modifies yoga poses so that they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine positions. Chair yoga gives you the opportunity to stretch and strengthen, just like a traditional yoga practice.
