Today at Bishop Gadsden, residents of Myers Hall Assisted Living, Arcadia Close Memory Care, and Read Cloister Skilled Nursing all had the opportunity to participate in a Pretty in Pink party benefitting Roper Cancer Care Patient Program! The party was filled with beautiful music, fun-filled games, delicious food, and fun prizes!
The day began with some wonderful music accompanied by snacks consisting of cucumber sandwiches, cookies with pink icing, and some delicious punch. The most entertaining game of the day was undoubtedly the “Pin the bra on the lady” game. Residents volunteered to be blind-folded and attempt to pin the bra on the lady. It was absolutely hilarious for both the staff and the residents! The residents with the two best pins won some fun prizes! Other games included: Guess the number of Pink M&M’s and a raffle for a free manicure from the spa services here at Bishop Gadsden.
The money that was raised from this event was donated to the Patient Assistance Fund for Roper Cancer Care Center. Residents helped contribute by selling silk dyed scarves at the event. The party helped raise donations and simultaneously provided fun and laughter for the residents. It was a great day here, at Bishop Gadsden!
