Tales of History with Vanessa Cole: The Port of York Yorktown, Virginia was a major port and center for business and economy. In 1781 the Battle of Yorktown, the final major battle of the American Revolution, took place here, leaving the town nearly destroyed. Although the battle itself is remembered, the town is all but forgotten. These are her stories.
