Join College of Charleston paleontology professor Dr. Scott Persons for a 4.5-billion-year journey into our planet’s primordial past. This four-part lecture series will explore the origins and diversification of life and the many global extinction events that have threatened it. From the depths of Carboniferous coal-swamps to the beasts of the Ice Age, this course will introduce you to the wildest and strangest animals and ecosystems of all time.
