Please join us in Blackmer Hall on September 26th at 4 PM for our Annual Funds Kickoff! Meet the organizations our 2024 Charitable Fund will financially support and learn the importance of our mission.
Here are the organizations that will be in attendance and what they hope to use the funding for:
Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic: Expand Healthcare Initiative to fund medical equipment and meet increased patient demand for the Protect and Prevent Program, including supplies for robust vaccinations and screening programs.
Dee Norton Child Advocacy: The overall goal is to hire an additional social worker to expand and strengthen trauma-informed services for youth victims of human trafficking in order to support increased safety, independence, self-sufficiency, and well-being.
James Island Outreach: To support the JIO Pantry Expansion Project (PEP) initiative to strategically expand our food pantry and storage capacity. The PEP expansion will enable a 50% increase in clients and allow us to expand fresh food offerings.
Lowcountry Veterans: Repair the plumbing of the Veterans House (circa 1960’s), which will involve both slab work as well as a complete plumbing overhaul/update.
