Description
This is a full-time position working 32 hours a week, This individual is assigned to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all flooringand carpeting throughout the Bishop Gadsden community according to the established standards and within the assigned area of responsibility.

Required Skills
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time. Physical strength capable of lifting 30lbs. Ability to read and comprehend labels and written instructions. Ability to communicate with residents, staff, and supervisor. High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Previous Experience
Previous experience as a floor technician.

Duties
Vaccum carpeted hallways and common areas daily. Move furniture in parlors and clean flooring area underneath on Tuesday and Friday. Mop the Cloister/Arcadia Close dining room after lunch each day. Remove trash from the utility room and the activity rooms. Sweep, mop, and buff all floors as needed. Sweep mats and entrance ways to building, removing any trash or debris.
